The Meinl 22 Inch Wind Gong is a handcrafted percussive instrument constructed from premium-grade bronze alloy. Wind Gongs are also known as Feng or Sun gongs. This premium-grade gong delivers a wide and long sustain. This is thanks to the almost flat shape helping to vibration to spread across the gong evenly. The resulting sound is low-pitched providing sizzling overtones when struck harder. Each gong comes complete with a beater adapted to the gongs size.
